Fri da words: A Magical Journey for Kids!
Jeg kan litt norsk, kan du hjelpe meg?
Fun and Inclusivity
Step into the vibrant world of Frida Marida, where laughter, learning, and love come together in a spectacular show designed especially for kids aged 6 to 12.
Fri Da Roads: school concert for ages 10 to 12
The steering wheel in action. Frida Marida plays a real car steering wheel turned into an instrument, with Ahmad Alak on oud, and tells the story of her road from Lebanon to Oslo. This video is from a concert for adults. The school version for 5. to 7. grade uses different humour and songs: the kids help Frida find her Norwegian words, guess the language of every song, and play the wheel themselves at the end.
Multilingual Melodies: Guess That Language!
Frida, as a queer person of minority background, brings a unique twist to the stage by singing in 10 different languages! Can the kids guess which language she's singing in?
It's a thrilling challenge that sparks curiosity and cultural appreciation.
Norwegian Adventures: Join Frida's Language Journey!
Using her limited Norwegian skills, Frida invites kids to help her express herself fully. It's all about freedom of expression, children become integral to the show, empowered by their Norwegian language skills and a sense of belonging.
Embracing Identity: Frida's Inspiring Story
Through heartfelt storytelling, Frida shares her personal journey of self-acceptance, from a young boy prohibited from wearing dresses to proudly embracing her true self in Norway. Her message of acceptance and understanding resonates deeply, inspiring kids to celebrate their own uniqueness and accept others.
Promoting Inclusivity: A Stage for All
Frida's show isn't just about her—it's about uplifting other queer and minority background kids, creating a space where everyone feels valued and included. By fostering empathy and acceptance, Frida encourages children to champion a tolerant, diverse, and inclusive society.
Join the Fun: Sing, Dance, and Celebrate!
Get ready to sing along as Frida and the kids perform the beloved Norwegian song "God Morgen Alle Sammen" with a Middle Eastern twist! It's a joyous moment where children take the stage, dance, and celebrate the beauty of diversity together.
