Step into the magical world of The ReLOVution Show, a spectacular performance that debuted at Oslo Pride 2022 with support from the Kulturrådet fund for Skeivt Kulturår.
The show featured 12 musicians and 5 dancers, bringing songs from around the world that spoke about change and revelations.
The heart of the show revolves around the idea of battles that still need to be fought for LGBTQ+ rights and other important human rights issues. The goal is to make everyone realize that they're connected to the world and share responsibility for creating a future that respects human rights.
Using artistic techniques, like talking to the future and speaking to cameras instead of the audience, the show aims to inspire hope and a commitment to making the world a better place.
This isn't just a performance; it's a call to join a movement.
The ReLOVution Show wants you to be part of a special experience where every note, every move, and every word paints a picture of a world where love and change go hand in hand.
About the Monologues
The conversations that take place between the songs are one of the unique elements of this show. Frida does not speak to the audience present in the showroom in front of her, but rather to the cameras around her, with the ideal future generations that she believes in.
These funny conversations make the viewer in a state of great questioning about many issues related to society, freedom and acceptance of the other, in our present. Why are there countries, borders, war, money, shame, taboos, gossip, fear? Why do we pay for food? Why what exist between our legs and how we use it should affect our life and decisions? Or if we believe in someone up in the sky?
Why the amount and size of cells in our muscles could make us more valuable? Or our English accent does? Why the amount of melatonin in our skin has a voice?....
